Synopsis

In 1980s Chile, during a military dictatorship, Jarda arrives from Europe with a VHS camera and the ashes of his mother, Edita. Once a Trotskyist and a Bauhaus student, Edita's mental state has been a topic of family silence. As Jarda navigates memories and family history, he confronts the blurred lines between madness and sanity. The film questions the narratives surrounding Edita's life and the reluctance to discuss politics and religion within the family.
