Synopsis

Nikica Jukić, a former Croatian veteran, reflects on life in Hrvatska Dubica, a village struggling to recover from the aftermath of war. At seventeen, he joined the conflict and began receiving a pension by twenty-two. Alongside his partner Svjetlana and other residents, he shares experiences of daily life marked by themes of love, hatred, and co-existence.
