Synopsis

Madhab inherited the art of puppetry from his father. He dedicates his life to making puppets move, talk, and express emotions. Facing declining interest in puppet theatres, Madhab watches his team struggle for survival. As the popularity of his craft wanes, he confronts the possibility of obscurity. Dolls Don't Die covers his efforts to maintain his artistic practice amid these challenges. The documentary runs for 70 minutes and was released in 2023.
