When the ancients looked into the night sky, they believed the heavens revolved around the Earth. Over centuries, this view radically changed as humanity discovered its place in the universe. It was learned that Earth orbits a star within the solar system, which is part of the Milky Way galaxy. As understanding expanded, it became apparent that the universe contains billions of galaxies. This realization raises the question of whether humanity is repeating the mistakes of its ancestors by assuming that the universe is all there is. The concept of a multiverse suggests that the universe might not be unique and that many universes could exist. Max Tegmark from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology proposes a four-fold classification of multiverses, with the first type being an infinite extension of the known universe. This idea stems from observational physics and current theories, indicating that the universe perceived is just a small part of a much larger reality, with the Hubble radius marking the limits of the observable universe.
