Synopsis

German filmmaker Rüdiger Sünner travels through Egypt, guided by the diary of Swiss painter Paul Klee. Klee visited Egypt in 1928 and Tunisia in 1914, experiences that profoundly influenced his art. The film features Klee's paintings alongside sepia-toned footage of early 1990s Egypt. It also recounts ancient Egyptian myths, including the story of Osiris and his adventures in the underworld, which inspired Klee's creative vision.
