Balajeyi, the director's grandmother, lives among the Ewenki people in the Daxinganling Mountains. As modern life encroaches, many young Ewenki have left their traditional reindeer herding for urban opportunities. The elders, however, remain committed to their way of life, striving to preserve their culture for future generations. "Devoted Love" captures Balajeyi's daily life and her deep connection to the forest and reindeer, reflecting a commitment to heritage amid change.
