Nuno Cardoso directs a theater project inside the Paços de Ferreira prison in Portugal. Over the course of one year, he works with prisoners to develop a play. The documentary records conversations and interviews with the inmates. Their testimonials provide insight into their lives and views while incarcerated. The project reflects their experiences and the creative process involved in bringing the play to life. The film was part of the Porto 2001 initiative.
