Synopsis

Asser lives on a Bolivian mountaintop, where he engages in humanitarian work with his girlfriend, Ida. When not working, he runs 40 kilometers through the mountainous desert. His goal is to become Denmark's best marathon runner. The film questions the balance between his commitment to his sport and his relationship with Ida. It presents a portrait of ambition set against the backdrop of love and dedication.
