Synopsis

Vera, a 20-year-old waitress at Carlson cafe, lives with her grandmother. She has Down syndrome and works alongside others with disabilities. At the cafe, she meets Sergei Dementyev, her future boyfriend. Their relationship develops into a serious love, marked by physical intimacy. Despite their deep connection, those around them do not take their romance seriously. The film presents their story against the backdrop of societal attitudes toward love and disability.
