Synopsis

Åge Aleksandersen performs at Huset on Svalbard and the Opera House in Oslo as part of a collaboration with Gunnar Pedersen and Trondheimsolistene. Since 2019, they have held over 60 concerts together. The documentary captures Aleksandersen's career through his stories about music and the partnership with Pedersen and the Trondheimsolistene. Aleksandersen’s daughter, Line-Sofie, also appears in the film. Directed by Sverre Brandtzæg, Dekksgutten runs for 98 minutes.
