Synopsis

Whatever walk of life, from bug to bear, animals face constant threats on the African plains. Every second, somewhere, an animal encounters danger, whether through a fight or an attack. This documentary questions what decides their fate: is it predetermined who lives or dies, or do they take their chances, living seconds from disaster? Millions of new babies arrive each year, but many will not survive long enough to learn how to avoid problems.
