Synopsis

Brendan, an American anthropologist, becomes a stay-at-home dad in Copenhagen after falling in love with a Danish woman. Over five years, he documents the challenges and small joys of raising two toddlers. Brendan reflects on his childhood, shaped by his mother’s abandonment, and questions the nature of love and care. The film offers a candid look at parenthood within the context of Danish culture and the concept of hygge.
