Synopsis
Sylvester Croom played as the first African-American center at the University of Alabama. He was part of the team coached by Paul "Bear" Bryant. After his playing career, Croom served as an assistant coach under Bryant for ten years. He later became the head football coach at Mississippi State University. In this role, he made history as the first African American head coach in the Southeastern Conference. The documentary covers these milestones in Croom's career.
