Synopsis

Labor Day weekend turns into a nightmare as a murderous wave terrorizes the American nation. In a small Ohio town, a middle-aged woman and a teenage boy disappear within hours of each other. Although the police are uncertain about the connection between the two cases, they suspect that one individual is responsible for both disappearances. The investigation escalates as they enlist the help of the FBI. A trail littered with stolen cars and dead bodies leads agents across seven states in search of two suspects. They can only arrest them if they can piece together the evidence linking the crimes.
