Synopsis

Under the glow of a lunar eclipse, a group of sleepless solitaries gathers in a boardwalk café. Sonia Oleniak’s filmic song cycle, "Coral," features lyrics translated from an imaginary language. The film captures their surreal nocturnal rituals, interspersed with strange singing and vivid imagery. As they seek respite from their labors and losses, the scenes are infused with elements of nature, including birds, salt, and violin rosin, creating a unique atmosphere of myth and introspection.
