Synopsis

A slender woman with close-cropped dark hair sits at a white desk in a small, cubicle-like office. The camera, positioned above and to the side, uses a wide-angle lens that distorts the scene, creating curved lines and a sense of depth in the confined space. Over 40 minutes, Bacher's video presents a series of still images, each marked with time-code numbers that indicate the date and time of the captured frames. The work reanimates documentary footage into a succession of visual moments.
