Synopsis

Dumitru Stanciu tends to his flock of sheep in the Transylvanian Carpathian Mountains. As one of the last mountain shepherds in Europe, he practices a tradition that has been passed down through generations. The film follows Dumitru through the changing seasons, revealing the daily challenges of shepherding. It captures the rugged beauty of his environment and the cultural heritage tied to this way of life, which is slowly disappearing. Directed by Titus Faschina, the documentary runs for 97 minutes.
