Synopsis
Brian Chippendale, the drummer for Lightning Bolt, and Greg Saunier, who plays for Deerhoof, collaborate on a self-titled drum duo album. The limited edition LP features two side-long improvisations. Directed by Matt Conboy of Death by Audio films, Checking in at 20 includes interviews with musicians from notable bands such as the Flaming Lips, Les Savy Fav, Thee Oh Sees, and Oneida. The film captures the creative process behind their unique musical partnership.
