Synopsis
Inka Gurung met Sita Thapa in a lakeside village near Pokhara, Nepal, in the late 2000s. Inka introduced Sita to kayaking. The two formed a close bond. Sita sought independence from traditional roles assigned to women. Inka believed that being a river guide could provide that independence. Over nearly a decade, their efforts reflect the challenges and changes faced by women in a patriarchal society. The documentary runs for 10 minutes and was released in 2022.
