Synopsis

Marieke Widlak visits Knegsel, where her grandparents and local residents have supported Indian priest Christopher Bara and his community for forty years. They ask her if she will continue this project. Marieke questions the effectiveness of their efforts and whether they stem from self-interest. To find answers, she travels to India to meet Bara. As their relationship deepens, her doubts increase until an unexpected message from India brings clarity.
