Synopsis
A forest in Poland conceals a grave beneath a massive oak tree. The remains of three soldiers-two Russians and one German-rest there, victims of World War II. After more than 70 years, archaeologists from the University of Warsaw begin an excavation. They work to identify the soldiers and investigate the historical significance of this forgotten burial site. The findings reveal the shared experiences of combatants from opposing sides.
