Carlos Andres Perez held the presidency of Venezuela twice, from 1974 to 1979 and again from 1989 to 1993. During his time in office, he introduced two major policies: 'La Gran Venezuela' and 'El Gran Viraje'. These initiatives shaped the political and economic conditions of the country.
