Synopsis

Emerson Porsches, a trans artist from Manaus, Brazil, uses their art to address the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. The film follows Emerson as they transform into Uira Sodoma, blending academic knowledge with indigenous spirituality. In Cameroon, communities build a village named after a native tree, aiming to live sustainably with the rainforest. The documentary connects these efforts, illustrating how art and traditional practices can contribute to environmental activism and support indigenous communities facing the impacts of deforestation.
