Synopsis

Eight-year-old Emily Fletcher lives in rural Texas. Hunting is a key activity for her family. The walls of their home feature stuffed heads of deer and wild boar. Emily is the only family member without a hunting trophy. She wants to change that. Emily faces her fears as she prepares for her first hunt. Directed by Louise van Assche, Buck Fever runs for 17 minutes and captures this personal challenge against a backdrop of family tradition.
