Synopsis

Jorge lives in San Antonio de los Baños, a small town near Havana, Cuba. By day, he identifies as Jorge; by night, he becomes Erica. In an 11-minute documentary, he discusses his identity, his body, and his relationships with family and society. The film captures the personal reflections of Jorge/Erica amid the changes occurring in Cuba. Ramona Pistilli directed this intimate portrayal of self and community in 2021.
