Synopsis
An old fisherman stands at the banks of the blue Danube, casting his hopes into the water each morning. He uses a hand-carved piece of wood to clap on the river's surface, a technique passed down through generations, in pursuit of the elusive giant fish. Tension builds as he competes with the hidden creature lurking beneath. Directed by Ivan Milosavljević, this 19-minute documentary from Serbia and Slovenia captures the timeless struggle between man and nature along the river's edge.
