In Chin State, Myanmar, the Zomi people dig to recover the remains of 30,000 Japanese soldiers from the Battle of Imphal, fought 75 years ago. This labor reflects daily life for the Zomi while intertwining their history with that of many Burmese who died in the conflict. Directed by Fujimoto, the 16-minute film presents multiple perspectives on this recovery process, positioning it as a physical and metaphysical act rooted in reconciliation between communities.
