Synopsis

George Harms takes aim at a state record desert ram in California during a series of hunts from 1997 to 1999. The documentary features scenes from Alberta, Canada, where auction tag hunts occur. It follows Gary Hansen on his #3 state record Idaho Bighorn hunt and Mark Almgreen as he uses a muzzleloader to take a desert sheep. Ann Palmer also appears, shooting a desert ram in Arizona. The film includes nine hunts and focuses on field judging rams scoring between 160 and 208 Boone and Crockett points.
