Synopsis

In a nursing home, members of the Genetic Choir Ensemble engage with residents who can no longer communicate in traditional ways. They use reciprocal listening and improvisation to create a warm atmosphere filled with hums and murmurs. The singers share their techniques, transforming silent spaces into lively exchanges. Small gestures, like smiles and eye contact, become significant moments of connection. This 19-minute documentary captures the Ensemble's efforts to foster communication and comfort among those facing isolation.
