Between Summers

Synopsis

Zimka and Nazmija spend their summer in the parks and streets of Zagreb, dancing and singing before the start of high school. At 17, Zimka's character contrasts with her younger sister, Nazmija, creating tension in their relationship. As Zimka prepares to move into a student residence and begins a relationship with Tin, the sisters face new challenges. The film captures their bond during this turbulent period, questioning the nature of adolescence and the right to a carefree youth.
