Berlin - Stettin

Synopsis

Volker Koepp returns to Stettin, now Szczecin, the city of his birth in 1944. Growing up in Berlin-Karlshorst, he revisits the regions between these two cities, including Brandenburg, Mecklenburg, and Pomerania. Koepp encounters individuals whose lives intersect with his own, revealing shared histories and personal narratives. As he retraces his past, he discovers new people and themes that enrich his storytelling, weaving together the threads of his biography with the history of the area.
