Synopsis

Simon runs a grocery shop in Zarzis, a small town in south-east Tunisia. Known as a confidant and healer, he gathers diverse locals around him. Among them are Tahar, a progressive teacher; Hadi, a painter; Fatma, a matchmaker; and Béchir, a taxi driver. Their conversations turn the shop into a space for political debate and philosophical discussion. Each person shares their perspective on life and the world around them. The film captures these interactions over 125 minutes.
