Synopsis

Nigora, an Uzbek woman in Tajikistan, faces upheaval when her husband, who has migrated for work, fails to send enough money home. After discovering his affair, she can no longer depend on him. In a break from traditional gender roles, Nigora begins repairing car tyres to support herself. The 20-minute film, released in 2014, addresses the emotional struggles of those left behind as families seek financial stability through migration.
