Synopsis

Reporter Martin Adler travels behind rebel lines in post-Tsunami Aceh, Indonesia, to report on the Aceh Rebels After the Flood in 2005. He is the first journalist to enter rebel territory and hear their perspective on the devastation caused by the tsunami. From their vantage point in the mountains, the insurgents observe the destruction of local villages. Although none of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) fighters are killed, the tsunami severely impacts their supply lines, leaving families in dire conditions.
