Synopsis

The Emerson String Quartet gathers for a final recording session of their last album, Infinite Voyage, in a studio. Over three days, they are joined by soprano Barbara Hannigan. The film captures their interactions-discussions about music, shared meals, and personal moments. After 47 years, the quartet reflects on their friendship and collaboration before they each go their separate ways.
