Sven Marquardt stands at the entrance of Berghain, one of Berlin's most famous techno clubs. He is known as a bouncer and also as a photographer. Before the fall of the Berlin Wall, he captured the East-Berlin subculture in black and white. His photographs reflect the atmosphere of the time, filled with contrasts of light and darkness. Marquardt's work conveys the gritty essence of nightlife and the lives within it. The film runs for 79 minutes and was released in 2019.
