Synopsis
Tom Wilson grew up in a blue-collar neighborhood in Hamilton, Ontario. His father, George, was a blind war veteran, and his mother, Bunny, was a protective housewife. Wilson found success in music with his bands Junkhouse and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings. After the deaths of his parents, he discovered a family secret that changed his understanding of himself. Based on his memoir, Beautiful Scars follows Wilson as he reconnects with his Mohawk heritage and reflects on his life.
