John Penn designed Beach House on the coast of Suffolk, UK. This 17-minute film features Penn's archival footage and experimental sound recordings made during the house's completion. Penn, also an architect, painter, musician, and poet, built nine houses in East Suffolk with strict symmetry. The film presents the architectural significance of Beach House and connects its past with its current form.
