Synopsis
Skrillex emerged from the underground music scene of Croydon, London, where pirate radio and raves flourished in the 1990s. "Bass Impact" covers the rise of dubstep and the role of the internet in music distribution. The documentary shows how these elements transformed the music industry into a multi-billion dollar business. Interviews and archival footage reveal the cultural significance of these changes in contemporary music. The film runs for 109 minutes and was directed by Danny Donnelly.
