Synopsis
Barney Rosset, a controversial publisher and advocate for free speech, spent decades challenging sexual and political norms in the United States. His legal battles in the mid-20th century played a significant role in shaping the counter-culture of the 1960s. In his late eighties, Rosset created a 15′ x 22′ surreal wall mural, using found objects to depict key moments from his life. Artists, a neurologist, and a shaman contribute to understanding the themes and conflicts that defined his rebellion against authority.
