The film captures the daily chaos in Port-au-Prince, where ten kidnappings occur each day. Father Michel, a local priest, advocates for peace amid the turmoil and expresses doubt about the upcoming presidential election's ability to restore order. The situation has worsened since the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in July 2021, leaving the population in a state of fear and uncertainty.
The authorities have officially counted 76 armed gangs in the country.
