Synopsis

Chen Tingting, the discipline commissioner at a railway school in Daxian, navigates life in a rapidly changing city in northeast Sichuan. Daxian, now known as Dachuan, reflects the evolving identity of its residents. The film follows students in a top class as they face distractions from their parents and limitations from their teachers. Their futures remain uncertain amid the pressures of modernization in surrounding villages.
