Asho

Synopsis

Asho, an Iranian shepherd's son, dreams of becoming an actor while managing goats. He watches at least one film a day, with Tim Burton as his favorite director. His cousin and future wife, Pari, shares his ambition. She believes that if Asho achieves stardom, she should too. Their lives unfold against a backdrop of rural landscapes, revealing their aspirations and the challenges they face in pursuit of their dreams. The documentary runs for 30 minutes and was released in 2019.
