Synopsis
Arvind, a 16-year-old teenager in Austin, Texas, confronts his past after his mother is released from prison. She struggles with mental illness. To process his feelings, Arvind writes and produces a play from her perspective. As he works with the actress portraying his mother, their relationship deepens. This connection prompts Arvind to reevaluate his understanding of family and his own identity. The documentary runs for 31 minutes and was released in 2016.
