Synopsis
Antonio and Piti, a mixed-race couple, led a coalition to expel a rubber company from the Asháninka people's land in the border region between Peru and Brazil. Thirty years after the enslavement of the Asháninka, their adult children confront ongoing political corruption and environmental disaster. The film documents their struggle for justice and sustainability in a community still affected by the legacy of colonial exploitation. Directed by Vincent Carelli, the documentary runs for 78 minutes and features dialogue in Guarani and Portuguese.
