Andrew Tate loses appeal against continued arrest in Romania
Synopsis
Andrew Tate and Tristan remain in detention, facing serious charges in Romania until January.
Synopsis
Andrew Tate arrives at court in a police van, appealing for his release from detention. Handcuffed and serious, he is accompanied by his brother Tristan, who waves at reporters. Both brothers were arrested at the end of December and face serious charges, including rape, human trafficking, and organized crime. After a five-hour hearing, their lawyer asserts their innocence, but the court denies their release, keeping them in the Detention Center until at least the end of January. Andrew Tate, known for his controversial online persona and self-proclaimed misogyny, allegedly lured women to his property in Romania to work in his pornography business. Romanian police claim this property is central to a web of criminality, while Tate argues he moved to Romania for its more lenient laws. Despite the serious allegations, the Tates maintain they are only guilty of being brash and unapologetic.
