Synopsis

Anayeli lives in the Sierra Negra of Puebla. She is a young nahua woman with epilepsy, a condition she has faced since childhood. Abandoned by her mother at birth, Anayeli has endured rejection and sexual abuse from members of her community. Despite these challenges, she seeks to understand her surroundings and holds onto a dream of celebrating her fifteenth birthday. The documentary follows her daily life and the obstacles she confronts along the way.
