Synopsis

Barbra, the former secretary of Bert, is unable to confirm his alibi in the 1987 murder case of Hubert Wilkes. Professor Wilson believes there is sufficient evidence to reopen the investigation, suspecting Bert of silencing Wilkes regarding the murder of Carl Bridgewater. Despite Bert's dismissal of these claims, his ex-wife, Janet Spencer, breaks her silence after 38 years, presenting incriminating evidence. Bert remains defiant, inviting any police inquiry into the matter.
