Synopsis
In 2007, the New York Philharmonic received an invitation to perform in Pyongyang, North Korea. This marked the first time an American orchestra played in the capital of a country technically at war with the United States. In February 2008, about 200 musicians and over 100 journalists arrived at Pyongyang's airport for the historic event, capturing the momentous occasion in a politically charged environment.
