Synopsis
John Evans, an 18th-century Welsh explorer, sought the lost tribe of the Welsh Indians in North America. Gruff Rhys, a contemporary musician, retraces Evans' path through a multimedia project involving a book, album, and app. "American Interior" connects these two stories. It addresses the cultural significance of the Welsh Indians and how storytelling has changed over time. The film runs for 91 minutes and was directed by Dylan Goch in 2014.
